President Bola Tinubu has appointed three new Directors-General and a Special Adviser on Public Communications to strengthen leadership across key sectors. The appointees include:
1. Mr. Olawale Olopade as Director-General of the National Sports Commission. Olopade brings years of experience in sports administration, previously serving as Ogun State’s youth and sports commissioner and leading the 2024 National Sports Festival’s organizing committee.
2. Dr. Abisoye Fagade as Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. Fagade is a marketing communications expert and founder of Sodium Brand Solutions.
3. Dr. Adebowale Adedokun as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement. Adedokun previously served as Director of Research, Training, and Strategic Planning within the bureau.
4. Mr. Daniel Bwala as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications. Bwala, a lawyer and public affairs analyst, will manage State House communications.
President Tinubu urged these leaders to uphold “dedication, patriotism, and excellence” in their new roles.
