Ondo State Governor and APC candidate, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, cast his vote at Polling Unit 5, Ugbo Ward, in Ilaje LGA, describing the election as peaceful with a strong voter turnout.
Expressing confidence in his chances, Aiyedatiwa said, “With what we have done in the last 10 months, the voters know who they want. I believe I’m in an advantaged position to win this election.”
He commended security operatives for ensuring a safe process, stating, “The police, civil defense, and military have been heavily deployed to address any threats. Ondo remains one of the safest and most peaceful states in Nigeria.”
Aiyedatiwa also highlighted the encouraging atmosphere in his community and hoped for similar conditions across the state.
