ONDO 2024: “Sanwo-Olu to Lead ‘Ondo Mission’ as APC Ramps Up Gubernatorial Campaign Efforts

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Chairman of the National Campaign Council to drive its campaign for the Ondo State governorship election on November 16. Sanwo-Olu will lead the 305-member council, bringing his extensive leadership experience to guide campaign strategies. Former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, will serve as the council’s secretary. The team includes high-profile APC members such as Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio, underscoring the party’s commitment to strengthening its influence in the region. The council’s inauguration is set for October 28 at The Dome in Akure, Ondo State.
