The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that 55,859 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), representing 62.2% of the 89,777 available, were collected in Ondo State between October 17 and 21, 2024. This marks the highest collection rate since the introduction of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) in 2015, according to INEC National Commissioner Sam Olumekun. The collection exercise took place across all 203 wards in the state. INEC has extended the collection period to its 18 Local Government Area offices, running from October 23 to 29, 2024, and urged remaining voters to collect their PVCs in person, as no proxy collection is allowed.
