Valentine Ozigbo, a 2025 governorship aspirant in Anambra State under the Labour Party, has declared that his candidacy is driven by the need to rescue the state from its worsening security and developmental challenges. Speaking at an event hosted by Osisioma Foundation in Umunya, Ozigbo emphasized his deep commitment to restoring Anambra to its former glory.
He highlighted the state’s alarming decline, stating, “It is unfortunate that Anambra has become unlivable due to the high crime rate and is now the worst in the South-East.” Ozigbo believes his background, experience in business, and passion for the state’s welfare position him to lead Anambra toward a brighter future, urging collective efforts beyond politics to achieve this goal.
