The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday locked its gates, restricting access to Labour Party (LP) leaders and stakeholders who arrived to submit the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the Supreme Court judgment removing Julius Abure as national chairman.
The action comes amid a deepening leadership crisis within the Labour Party following the recent apex court ruling. No official reason has been given by INEC for the refusal to receive the delegation or the court document.
