In a major leadership announcement, Governor Monday Okpebholo has appointed Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole, son of former Governor Adams Oshiomhole, as Commissioner for Health-designate. Alongside him, Musa Ikhilor has been named Secretary to the State Government, bringing extensive experience in legislative governance, and Samson Osagie, Vice President of the African Bar Association (West Africa), has been appointed as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice-designate.
Dr. Oshiomhole, with advanced studies from institutions like Harvard and Tulane, brings a strong public health background, while Ikhilor, with over a decade in parliamentary administration, will support effective governance. Osagie, an accomplished legal practitioner and former Minority Whip in the House of Representatives, completes this new team poised to drive impactful governance in Edo State.
