Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has approved two days off per week for workers on Grade Levels 01-14, while those on Grade Levels 15-17 will continue with one day off per week. This was announced by the State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, who said the measure is intended to ease the challenges workers face commuting to work, while improving productivity and service delivery.
Onasanya highlighted Governor Abiodun’s commitment to workers’ welfare, noting that this extension builds on the one-day-off policy introduced in July 2023. He urged accounting officers to ensure the smooth implementation of the policy without compromising efficiency in public service.
