The Ekiti State House of Assembly, led by Speaker Rt. Hon. Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, will be attending an Executive Legislative Leadership Retreat in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, in November 2024. The retreat, which aims to equip lawmakers with essential policy implementation skills, will include assembly members and their spouses.
In addition to the retreat, the delegation plans a courtesy visit to the Ekiti Kete Association, Canada, for an exclusive meeting with Ekiti community members in the diaspora. The visit seeks to promote cultural development, strengthen relationships, and encourage initiatives that support Ekiti State’s heritage and governance.
The House has requested a meeting date with the association between November 13 and 20, 2024. The delegation list includes several assembly members, key officials, and their spouses.
