President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja for the United Kingdom on Wednesday for a two-week vacation, which is part of his annual leave. According to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the leave will serve as both a working vacation and a time for the President to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
Tinubu’s trip to the UK marks his 27th international visit since taking office 16 months ago. He recently returned from a visit to London, where he met with King Charles III. The President is expected to return after his leave concludes.
