Hey guys, as public campaigns have kicked off in Ondo State, it’s super important to stay informed about the upcoming election so you can make smart decisions. But don’t panic—YBI has got your back!
Mark your calendars: the Ondo State governorship election is happening on Saturday, November 16, 2024. INEC has officially announced that 17 political parties are fielding candidates for this election. What’s really cool is that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) nominated a candidate with a disability (a paraplegic), showing inclusivity in action. These 17 political parties started their public campaigns on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and they have to wrap it up by Thursday, November 14, 2024. That’s according to Section 94(1) of the Electoral Act 2022, which states that campaigns can’t start more than 150 days before polling day and must end 24 hours before the polling day.
