Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has issued a stern warning to PDP governors, vowing not to let anyone take control of the party’s structure in Rivers State. Speaking at the PDP state congress in Port Harcourt, Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, threatened to cause political turmoil in the states of any governor who attempts to interfere with Rivers State’s party affairs.
This statement follows a recent meeting of PDP governors in Taraba State, where they discussed the ongoing crisis in Rivers PDP and expressed support for current Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Wike made it clear that any attempt to undermine his influence in Rivers would be met with severe repercussions, emphasizing his readiness to defend his position.
