Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State highlighted his administration’s dedication to improving transportation infrastructure during the launch of a ₦6.6 billion road construction project. The project, which covers 11.65 kilometers and connects the towns of Rawayya, Furfuri, and Kurya-Madaro in Bungudu and Kaura-Namoda local government areas, aims to close infrastructure gaps and boost local economies.
Awarded to Bauhaus Global Investment Nigeria Limited, the project is expected to be completed within 12 months. Governor Lawal emphasized that these road projects are key to enhancing connectivity, supporting economic growth, and addressing security challenges in the state.
